Situation

The print management system offers end-users controls like auto-print release and access to any printer within the business. The goal was to offer customers a mobile app for reliable, easy, and fast printing.

Task

Assigned as the UX designer for the project, my responsibility was to pinpoint the essential user tasks and determine their expectations for an optimal printing experience.

Action

For this project, I led a full end-to-end user experience design process that began with research sessions identifying core jobs users were trying to do, and continued through ideation, design improvements, user testing, and continuing assistance during development.

Result

The application garnered stellar 5-star ratings for its remarkable usability and intuitive interface. It quickly emerged as the preferred choice among users for releasing print jobs, surpassing traditional access methods such as NFC identity cards.
